Now, we’re wrapping things up with the final reveal: the basement—a space designed for entertainment, relaxation, and endless family fun. Let’s take a look inside!
The Kitchenette
The stunning kitchenette is the heart of the basement, combining style and functionality effortlessly. I custom-designed the cabinetry, working closely with our cabinet maker to perfect every detail. The hardware is another unique choice that makes this space super special. The tile going all the way up the wall and the sconces above the shelving are ultra luxurious—no corner is left untouched in this home. For added convenience, we included a beverage fridge and microwave, making it easy to grab snacks and drinks. Whether the kids are playing a game on the basketball court or it’s family movie night in the theater room, everything is right at hand.
Next to the kitchenette sits the game area, where a pool table and various game stations make this the perfect place to unwind. The mix of rich textures and bold materials keeps the space feeling modern yet inviting. Whether it’s a family gathering or a night in with friends, this setup encourages connection and fun.
The Basketball Court
One of the most exciting features of this basement is the indoor basketball court, a dream space for this active family. With a built-in bench area, spectators can comfortably watch the game from up close, while an overlooking gym on the main floor offers another great viewing spot. Thoughtful additions, like conveniently placed outlets, ensure the space is both practical and dynamic.
I love the combination of black and light wood in this space. Who knew a basketball court could look this good?
The Powder Bath
Rounding out the basement is the powder bath, a space that proves even small rooms can make a big impact. We started with a striking tile selection, layering in black, white, and wood tones to reflect the client’s aesthetic. The custom wood paneling detail adds warmth and texture, while the moody painted ceiling ties everything together. The finishing touch? Sleek pendant lights that make this space feel high-end and very unique.
From casual game nights to high-energy basketball matches, this basement was designed to be a place where memories are made. Every detail—from the custom cabinetry to the thoughtful layout—ensures that this space will be enjoyed for years to come.
