Now Hiring: Interior Designer

Full-Time, In-Person | Mesa, AZ

Lexi Westergard Design is seeking an experienced and highly motivated designer to join our creative team. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design team and oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency

  • Develop mood boards, floor plans, material selections, and detailed specifications

  • Source furniture, fixtures, and finishes while coordinating with vendors and clients

  • Support the creation and delivery of polished client presentations

  • Collaborate with the studio team to ensure projects run smoothly and meet timelines

  • Support project installations, maintaining quality and design intent

  • Maintain organized digital files and project documentation

  • Travel to project sites locally and out of state as needed

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is/has:

  • 5+ years of professional interior design experience

  • Residential interior design experience (portfolio required)

  • Strong skills in conceptual design, space planning, and material selection

  • Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, or similar) and tech-savvy with digital tools

  • Thrives in collaboration, embraces feedback as part of the creative process, and can adapt designs accordingly.

  • Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Comfortable assisting with installations and able to lift at least 50 lbs

  • Willing to travel for out-of-state project installs as needed

  • Based in (or planning to relocate to) the Phoenix, AZ area
