Paradise Valley Project: Powder Baths
Hi all! The project reveal continues, and I’m so excited to share the powder baths with you today. Before we begin, have you seen our other two project reveals?
Read them here: the Entry, Living + Dining Room and the Family Room and Boy’s Bedroom.
Powder baths are always a favorite to design because they offer so much room for personality and creativity. Due to the locations of these rooms, we’ve dubbed them as the “his-and-her” powder baths.
Lately, I’ve been all about dark and moody vibes, and these powder baths definitely embrace that trend, creating spaces that are as bold as they are beautiful.
MASCULINE POWDER BATH
This powder bath, located near the husband’s office, was transformed from its over-the-top, “Playboy Mansion” style (as our clients lovingly called it) into a sleek, masculine space. Check out the before photos to see the full transformation.
We stripped away the gaudy trim, squared off the curved vanity, and replaced it with a stunning floating marble vanity. Extending the marble across the wall adds luxury, while deep green walls (Dark Pewter by Benjamin Moore) create a dramatic vibe.
Built-in boxes clean up awkward cutouts, and flanking the mirror with lighting creates the perfect effect. We swapped the cream tile for terracotta star and cross tiles, tying the space to the home’s Spanish-inspired design.
The result? A bold, dramatic powder bath that’s both grounded and stylish.
BEFORE
FEMININE POWDER BATH
Situated near the family room, we went for a more feminine flair in this powder bath. We chose a bold wallpaper that immediately catches the eye and paired it with a coordinating dark hue on the ceiling. By also adding that color to baseboards and door, we created a rich, enveloping atmosphere that feels both elevated and unexpected.

One of favorite features of this room is the custom vanity, with its playful yet elegant door detailing. The countertop and backsplash add a layer of contrast, ensuring every detail shines. The lighting adds to the charm, with geometric sconces featuring delicate tassels flanking a softly curved feminine mirror—just so gorgeous. The floor is a unique marble mosaic tile that matches perfectly with the floral wallpaper.
A luxe and polished power bath full of personality—the transformation is to die for.
BEFORE + AFTER
Powder baths should always feel like an experience, and these two spaces are no exception. From the dark, moody finishes of the green bath to the bold wallpaper and rich trim in the family room bath, these powder baths are true highlights of the home. Both rooms are perfect examples of how small spaces can make a big impact.
We’re thrilled with how they turned out and hope they inspire you to see the potential in even the smallest areas of your own home!
Xoxo,
Lexi
