Hermosa Vista Project Reveal
Today’s blog reveal is from our Hermosa Vista project and I am so excited to share it with you. Our clients took what used to be two bedrooms and decided to create a playroom/teen hangout room for their kids. The room is right off of the family room and is the only room in the house with a TV so they wanted the room to look great while still being kid friendly. With the room being a playroom and the designated social spot in the house, we wanted to select materials that would be durable and able to withstand the heavy traffic but at the same time not compromise style. The sofa has a perennial fabric that is ultra durable and the rug can be used both indoors and outdoors so if it gets dirty it’s very easy to spray off.
Our client has a huge scrabble board that their family is constantly playing and was located in the family room, but we thought this would be the perfect room for it. We played off the colors in the scrabble board and added pillows with colors that tied into the board making the room feel very cohesive. The poufs under the coffee table add extra seating when the kids have all of their friends over. This playroom is proof that you can have a kid friendly space without compromising style.
