Canyon Creek Kid’s Bathrooms
The next look at our Canyon Creek Project takes us inside the kids bathrooms - but trust me when I say these spaces are anything but childish. Deep hues, elevated finishes, and playful patterns keep these bathrooms feeling fresh and modern for years to come. You can catch up on the tour of this project with the kitchen, dining and family room tour here, then don't miss a look at the laundry and mudroom here.

The kids bathroom got a major glow up. It's shared between two siblings so we wanted to make it feel really special. We went dark and moody on the custom vanity painted in Jasper by Sherwin Williams. Topped with a honed black granite counter top, it makes a bold statement against polished nickel hardware. Carrying the statement making black details into the shower, tiled the shower surround in a vertical picket tile. The patterned tile run straight through to the shower room keeps everything feeling playful and bold.

This vintage inspired jack-and-jill bathroom is nestled between two bedrooms. We wanted to create a high-end retro feel in this space that transformed this shared bathroom into an en-suite dream. To make it happen, we went with a classic black and white hexagon tile on the floors, reminiscent of another era, yet totally timeless. The vintage rug keeps it from feeling too formal and pulls the minty gray hues from the custom vanity. We painted the cabinets Sherwin Williams Rain Washed and it's the perfect "not quite neutral" color. Balancing the more feminine color with a black honed granite and an unexpected scalloped detail on the vanity backsplash.
