51st Street Reno Project Reveal: Entry

Today we are excited to share with you the entry from our 51st Street Reno project! We were brought onto this project over two years ago when our clients had recently purchased an older home in the heart of Arcadia. The home was striped down to the studs to be renovate and create additional square footage. We selected all of the hard surfaces throughout the house and now have been furnishing each room in phases. During this phase we worked on the entry, dining room, and den. We will be sharing those finished spaces in the coming weeks so be sure to follow along so you don't miss the reveals.

In the entryway we have this gorgeous black and steel window with a built-in bench beneath it to separate the dining room from the entry. We wanted the entry to feel cozy and inviting so we had a custom bench cushion made that creates the perfect spot for guest to take off/put on their shoes. The drawers underneath the bench add the perfect spot to put shoes or other items needing to be stored away. We love how the pillows add color and texture to the space and mimic the colors in the artwork so the room feels cohesive.

Since we have a bench on one side of the entry we wanted to balance it out by putting a console table with a large piece of art above it. We love to add a table lamp to an entry table to create mood lighting at night. This beautiful ceramic lamp adds so much interest and complements the blue dutch door so well. Fresh greenery always create a warm welcome to any home and these magnolia branches add the perfect touch! One of our must have styling objects is beautiful coffee table books that create a great layered look to any space.

Next week we will be sharing the living room of our Mountain View Project and I promise you won't want to miss it! Be sure to check out the entry and piano room from that project if you haven't already. I hope you enjoyed this reveal and if you are looking to renovate, furnish, or build your dream home we would love to help!
