Encanto Spanish Project: Little Girls’ Room
Today we are excited to finally reveal the little girls’ room from our Encanto Spanish Project and let me tell you it’s a good one! In case you missed it we shared the living room and family room from this house here. This home is a historical 1930’s Spanish style home so while designing the house, we wanted to remain true to the original feel while at the same time giving it a more updated, modern feel.
We began by adding a piece of vintage flower art that our client already had and accessorized the space with other unique pieces like this rug which helped incorporate a modern feel but kept true to the original style like we wanted. It is no secret that I love wallpaper, especially in a kid’s room. When my client mentioned to me that they wanted to use wallpaper, as you can guess I was so excited! When designing kids’ rooms, we always try to make the room a space that can grow with the kids as they get older. This specific space is a shared room for two lucky sisters. I can just imagine all the memories they will make in this space as they grow up!
